A nature and natural history photographer for more than 30 years, Jim Steinberg is the author of various books including the regional best-seller Colorado Less Traveled, Journeys off the Beaten Path (Portfolio Publications) and The White Rabbit and other Delights (Pomegranate Press). He has been a resident of Steamboat Springs, Colorado for over thirty years.

Jim Steinberg's love of his adopted state and his passion for exploring its natural beauty from every angle and in every season inspired his most recent book, Colorado Scenic Byways: Taking the Other Road, which he calls his "love letter to Colorado's landscapes." His latest travel book is his most extensive and comprehensive look at Colorado's landscapes.
