This is the Sundial Court in the Yampa River Botanic Garden of Steamboat Springs, Colorado. In the foreground, I loved the line the penstemon were creating and how they lead your eye right to the sundial. Or, if your eyes are coming in from the left side, you follow the brick road right around and back to the sundial as well. These elements, combined with the contrast of the vibrant purple in the foreground and softer yellow in the background really made for vividly eye-catching shot..
