Reflection shot at Yampa River

Feb 07, 1991
With the Yampa River flowing so fast and high this time of year I thought it might be a good time for a reflection shot. I wanted something that showed not only the speed of the water, but also added some color to indicate the season. I found this spot west of town with newly budded trees near the river casting a lovely late evening reflection. The result is a mix of bright spring color mixed with the blue of the water and a marvelous sense of movement. It was just what I wanted.
